Running has never been my friend. I have loathed the idea of laps and cannot stand conditioning. I spent the majority of my youth running around and around soccer fields and high schools in order the be in shape for soccer, the game i loved. I put up with it for soccer, but only barely. It was the price I was forced to pay in order to play.

I would grudgingly admit that the more I ran and the better my conditioning, the better I played and the more fun the games were for me. Yet still I avoided it as much as I possibly could.

The cool guys at Penny Arcade have a charity called Child's Play. It involves improving the unpleasant lives of children in medical facilities by bringing them games and toys. Most hospitals do not have the ability to really provide new fun games and toys to their patients and so they decided to try and help.

They have now added the Children's Hospital of Oklahoma as one of the places that benefits from this great organization.  read more »
