One of the major problems I have run into with the Elmocast is that libsyn allows www.elmocast.com/rss AND elmocast.com/rss to both work as a legitimate feed address, without notifying the client that one is not valid while forwarding it to the valid one.

Because of this, I show up in iTunes and many other podcast aggregators twice. This effectively cut my stats in half. If you left a comment on my show in iTunes it may or may not have shown up on the one I wanted iTunes to use. read more »

Podcasts?

A podcast is a program, either audio or video, like a radio show or a tv series,  that is made available online.  You find a podcast you like and then subscribe to it with your podcast software. Then you can watch or listen to it whenever a new episode is available.

It is built around a technology called RSS that allows a program on your computer to keep up to date with the list of available shows,  automatically downloading any new ones so that you have them ready for you when you want to listen to it. read more »

I just got through interviewing Negin Farsad about her film, Nerdcore Rising. It was a fun interview and now I really want to see the film.

The latest elmocast is now in the feed. I talk about the new 7th Son:Obsidian stories and the awesome news about Code Phantom, now know as Personal Affects:Dark Arts. It will be part of a huge ARG developed by the brilliant game designer behind FASA, Whizkids, I Love Bees and others..

I also talk about going back to teaching and possibly ditching my web design career.

I am not sure what the problem is, but I am not able to podcast any more apparently. I tried again this morning and when I listened to the show afterwards it was completely jacked up. 

I have hosed something in my setup and really have no idea what it is.

I am going to have to spend some serious time later going over how I am doing this and see what is wrong.

I finally WANT to podcast again and now fate doesn't want me to.. what is the story morning glory?
