Podcasts?

A podcast is a program, either audio or video, like a radio show or a tv series,  that is made available online.  You find a podcast you like and then subscribe to it with your podcast software. Then you can watch or listen to it whenever a new episode is available.

It is built around a technology called RSS that allows a program on your computer to keep up to date with the list of available shows,  automatically downloading any new ones so that you have them ready for you when you want to listen to it.
