Walking on Crushed Steel

I am a huge fan of mixing sounds into pleasant sounds or energetic compilations. I still remember how excited I got back in the 80's when I saw my first Art of Noise video of a little girl with a chainsaw attacking a piano while beats and rhythms mixed with words to create this amazing rich canvas of sound and sight. Really got me.

This video is amazing in a similar creative subtly deceptive sort of way. It is made entirely by mixing various shots of cars crashing into each other, with sounds provided by crashes, car horns and other automotive related noises. It is not long before you forget that you are not listening to recorded studio music.

What will really bake your noodle is when you start questioning what music really is but a bunch of sounds organized in a pleasant way..  ok here is the video before I get too deep.
