Tweet Dive OKC

We are going to try something new. TweetBarOKC!

The idea is simple.  Once every couple of weeks, we will choose a dive bar in the OKC metro area, and try and get as many people as possible to converge on that one bar at exactly the same time. Hopefully everyone, including the bar itself, will have a great time.

Why can't I swallow?

If you follow my twitter feed, you saw that I spend the day in misery and the night in the ER, from what I had been describing as “I can’t swallow anything” or something similar. What the heck does this mean? Am I choking? Am I gagging? What would cause that?

When I went in, I did not know what was happening but now I do: Impacted Food. Eosinophilic Esophagitis. Dysphagia.

New helmet allows pilots to see through the plane

This is crazy cool. I want to try it!

A series of cameras on the outside of the stealth warplane feed high-resolution images into the helmet, including infra-red images at night, which are then projected on to the inside of the pilot’s visor.

Special sensors inside the cockpit track the movement of the helmet, so that when the pilot turns his head his view of the skies or ground outside changes accordingly.  read more »

So Apparently Nic Cage needs to be my interior decorator. I think that if I was filthy rich, my home would be exactly like this...

To put it mildly, the house, though impressive, was not to everyone's taste. Real estate agent Bret Parsons, who toured it most recently in October, described the interiors as "fascinating and bizarre." read more »
